Refraktions remembers the notes and on what tracks the notes were added in order to learn the user's composition style and generate new compositions based on that style.
Notes are added to the Refraktions memory via screen taps, controllers in other iOS apps that target Refraktions (often set up in AUM or Audiobus), computer software like Ableton that is set up to target and sends MIDI to Refraktions, or external MIDI controllers that target Refraktions through traditional MIDI.
If a user would like to delete all the note inputs they have entered during the entire course of their history using Refraktions, go to Settings > Reset AI Memory. This deletes all user data. Also, a user can delete their note inputs by deleting and reinstalling the app.
